Better (piano and voice)Regina's 4th LP was released in June 2006 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and eventually climbing as high as #20 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Initial shipments came bundled with a copy of the 6-track "Side 1" promo CD (ostensibly for buyers to share with a friend) and four 1" buttons.
Better (radio recut)
A 2-disc "Special Edition" digipack featuring 5 bonus tracks and an expanded booklet was released simultaneously. The downloadable version (via iTunes, Rhapsody, and other outlets) featured 2 additional bonus tracks.
In April 2009, a vinyl Special Edition was issued to coincide with Record Store Day, including the 5 Special Edition bonus tracks, along with the 2 previously online-only bonus tracks, and 2 additional versions of "Better" previously issued as a 7" single.

Lyrics (from the Begin to Hope Special Edition liner notes):
Mrs. E Roosevelt never heard me shoot my gun
Mrs. E Roosevelt didn't even knew I owned one
Somewhere betweeen the cobblestone floor and the slated wooden ceiling
Cuddling my semi-automatic, what a very fuzzy feeling
Oh...There's nothing like emptying a cartridge at the sun
Uh-merica
Oh we're born alone and then we're covered by m-m-m-mothers' kisses
The mind has already forgotten what the body still misses
Somewhere between the sticky floor and the cracks in the ceiling
Cuddling my semi-automatic, what a very fuzzy feeling
Oh...There's nothing like emptying a cartridge at the sun
Uh-merica
There's nothing like emptying a cartridge at the sun
