Better (piano and voice)Regina's 4th LP was released in June 2006 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and eventually climbing as high as #20 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Initial shipments came bundled with a copy of the 6-track "Side 1" promo CD (ostensibly for buyers to share with a friend) and four 1" buttons.
Better (radio recut)
A 2-disc "Special Edition" digipack featuring 5 bonus tracks and an expanded booklet was released simultaneously. The downloadable version (via iTunes, Rhapsody, and other outlets) featured 2 additional bonus tracks.
In April 2009, a vinyl Special Edition was issued to coincide with Record Store Day, including the 5 Special Edition bonus tracks, along with the 2 previously online-only bonus tracks, and 2 additional versions of "Better" previously issued as a 7" single.

2004-06-29 New York, NY | Sin-é
This was a benefit show in memory of Aaron Wilkinson, who had passed away the previous summer. Aaron's father Dennis opened with a prayer and introduced the artists (including Kimya Dawson, Adam Green, and Aaron's brother Graham). Regina's short set included the debut performances of Hero (with some additional lyrics and alternate phrasing not found in later performances), Après Moi, Aquarius, and almost The Wallet (but, even then, people had to have their Samson).

I believe this was the night drummer/producer Alan Bezozi was first introduced to Regina (Bezozi would go on to record with Regina and bring producer Gordon Raphael to her show at Tonic on 12/18/2002). I also believe these may have been the debut performances of Ave Maria and Somedays.
